1) No substitutions without prior consent of the committee 2) Coach pitches to their own team. 3 pitches for the guys, and 4 pitches for the girls. 3) If the player hits the offensive pitcher, the ball is dead and is considered a strike. 4) There is no bunting. It must be a full swing. 5) Bats are provided, however, if someone brings their own bat, everyone should be allowed to use it. 6) No lead offs. A lead off is when a player leaves the base before the ball is hit. 7) At first base, the runner uses the orange bag and the first baseman uses the white bag. 8) Bases are 50 feet apart 9) The play at home plate is considered a force play, therefore, the catcher does not have to tag the runner, however, the catcher must have a foot on home plate to get the runner out. The runner does not touch home plate, but must cross the home plate line before the catcher has the ball. 10) When running past third base, if the runner crosses the commitment line, the runner must run home, or they will be considered an automatic out. 11) Home team is determined by the toss of the coin for the games played on Saturday. Home games on Sunday are determined by standings. 12) There is no in-field-fly rule. 13) Players are expected to show respect towards other players and officials. Failure to do so results in ejection of the game and/or tournament. 14) Maximum 7 runs per inning, except the last inning is open 15) All players must arrive on time. Teams missing players will play short-handed and if that player is not available to bat, they are an automatic out. 16) Must wear team shirt 17) Defensive fielders cannot throw to the offensive pitcher. Once the defensive team has control, the infield player will give the ball the offensive pitcher.
